Fun, Frantic, Frightening February

I really need to do this more often because so many things happen every day and I want to share them all. So here are the highlights of February. First I had four children on antibiotics all at once, the reason - STREP and one big bad ear infection (that was Samantha). Second, Jacob turned SIX. I can't believe it he is growing up so fast. He got to pick out a new big boy bike and helmet for his birthday. Luckily his birthday was on Saturday and it had been warmer and rainy all week so when his birthday dawned SUNNY - he got to try out his new wheels.Third, I indulged in a splurge for Miss Olivia. Since she is my last baby I feel guilty buying anything that isn't absolutely necessary for her ( you know, it won't be used enough). But I just couldn't resist the Bumbo Babysitter. If you have never heard of this it is a seat that allows very young babies, once they can hold their heads up, to sit upright unassisted. Well Olivia likes it a lot and I love being able to get her off her back so she can see what is going on. Last but certainly not least, tonight I took my oldest child Jessica to the department of motor vehicles to get her SIP. SIP stands for Driver's Training/Supervised Instruction Permit. Yes she is starting drivers ed. I am scared and excited. I think Jessica will be a very conscientious driver, I am just scared to let the rest of the drivers out there have a shot at her. I am excited because a third driver will come in handy, especially when Kevan is out of town. We also had a good Valentines day. Both of our babysitters got outside jobs so I fixed Kevan and myself a nice dinner that we ate after the boys were in bed and while Samantha watched TV and Olivia in our room. I dipped strawberries in chocolate for the first time. It is so easy but so tasty. I also tried a new recipe for molten lava chocolate cakes. YUMMMY! add raspberries and whipped cream and Kevan's tummy was satisfied. We also had a good laugh watching the American Idol tryouts. I hope all who read this are doing well, I have nothing to complain about. Life is GOOD!
(I did manage to add pictures[thanks Heather] now I need to figure out how to put them where I want them)
