I really need to do this more often because so many things happen every day and I want to share them all. So here are the highlights of February. First I had four children on antibiotics all at once, the reason - STREP and one big bad ear infection (that was Samantha). Second, Jacob turned SIX. I can't believe it he is growing up so fast. He got to pick out a new big boy bike and helmet for his birthday. Luckily his birthday was on Saturday and it had been warmer and rainy all week so when his birthday dawned SUNNY - he got to try out his new wheels.Third, I indulged in a splurge for Miss Olivia. Since she is my last baby I feel guilty buying anything that isn't absolutely necessary for her ( you know, it won't be used enough). But I just couldn't resist the Bumbo Babysitter. If you have never heard of this it is a seat that allows very young babies, once they can hold their heads up, to sit upright unassisted. Well Olivia likes it a lot and I love being able to get her off her back so she can see what is going on. Last but certainly not least, tonight I took my oldest child Jessica to the department of motor vehicles to get her SIP. SIP stands for Driver's Training/Supervised Instruction Permit. Yes she is starting drivers ed. I am scared and excited. I think Jessica will be a very conscientious driver, I am just scared to let the rest of the drivers out there have a shot at her. I am excited because a third driver will come in handy, especially when Kevan is out of town. We also had a good Valentines day. Both of our babysitters got outside jobs so I fixed Kevan and myself a nice dinner that we ate after the boys were in bed and while Samantha watched TV and Olivia in our room. I dipped strawberries in chocolate for the first time. It is so easy but so tasty. I also tried a new recipe for molten lava chocolate cakes. YUMMMY! add raspberries and whipped cream and Kevan's tummy was satisfied. We also had a good laugh watching the American Idol tryouts. I hope all who read this are doing well, I have nothing to complain about. Life is GOOD!
(I did manage to add pictures[thanks Heather] now I need to figure out how to put them where I want them)

Wow I can't believe how fast your kids have grown. Olivia looks so big in that chair!!! So to move your pictures just click (and hold)on them and drag them to where you want them. Have fun...love ya

Happy Birthday Jacob! I love the bumbo seat, I might try to find one for Theodore. I am so glad you blogged, I love hearing all of your updates.
Happy Birthday to anyone there I have missed this year. I am seeking to do better. It is nice to have you blogging so that we can read and see how you are all doing. Could you call and tell Rita I once a week. She really likes hearing from family -- she doesn't want to visit in person for long but a hi on the phone is a real hilight in her days.
Happy Birthday to anyone I have missed so far this year. I am seeking to do better again. Pray for me.
It is wonderful that you have joined the Family Blogger's. Now we get to read and see how you are growing. JACOB...SIX 6, Yipe, how can that be? Your not that far away but your not that close either so time gets away from us. Hey, any chance you could call and say HI to Rita. She really misses hearing from family. We/I am going to request that I get to come see her on my Birthday- or there abouts. Would you be for having overnight guests? Let me know. Love mom
